This is one of the best parts of using the newest version of PS
Adobe PhotoShop CC allows us to treat a jpg file as if it was a raw file and do some processing of it in Adobe Camera RAW
This allows us to adjust the WB, increase the Fill light (brighten just the shadows and/or Mid Tones)
In my personal work I rarely embrace PS (I prefer LR)
But when I do work for another photographer, who does such high volume we only shoot jpg - this is one very handy tool to be able to treat jpegs in adobe camera RAW

thru the use of Smart Object Filters
Very Powerful !
